Founder and CEO

Christoph Grossbaier

Christoph graduated top of his class in an engineering master's in energy technologies at Cambridge University. Studying under the mentorship of renowned sustainable energy expert David MacKay, author of the seminal book Sustainable Energy – Without the Hot Air, Christoph was inspired to make sustainable heating options accessible to everyone.

Leading our operations is Pradeep, a seasoned heating engineer with over 15 years of industry experience. Pradeep's expertise ensures that every installation carried out by Econic meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Lead Energy Consultant

Andrew Cunningham

Andrew performs the essential home assessment and heat loss calculations to provide precise, and empirically tested heat pump designs. He is a registered retrofit coordinator, and organiser of one of the main heat pump conferences in the UK.

Coco Bates

Our project manager Coco coordinates our installations, from green boiler swaps to home renovations. Coco oversees the whole process in detail, acting as a single point of contact so you know exactly what will happen, when, and by whom.
